Do More with DoMo and MobileMom!

Do more with your Mobile! Created by the software development company, GoWare, DoMo lets users access pc content on mobile phones anywhere. After designing goware.biz, Blast Advanced Media designed domohomepage.com to help build awareness for the new service. Since then, DoMo has evolved to include a partnership with Mom Central for its latest program called MobileMom!

MobileMom is a simple program that allows moms to access content from their home pc when they are away from home, a perfect solution for the Power Mom, PTO Mom or Soccer Mom. Blast designed the new MobileMom site to look similar to DoMo Homepage in order to build brand consistency.

The CSAC-EIA Is A Super Client!

We launched a redesigned web site for the CSAC-EIA and shortly after, the site is already getting increased traffic and conversions. With clear Calls To Action on the homepage, users are quickly learning more about how this organization helps its members and how they can get more involved. I enjoyed working with the EIA team during the redesign.

They were prepared, proactive and thoughtful about their decisions. They paid close attention to site details and were also open to our new ideas. We're working on a thorough case study to demonstrate how the redesign is helping users more quickly and easily find needed content.

Our Featured Speaker at Web Builder 2.0 in Vegas

Kayden Kelly will be a featured speaker at Web Builder 2.0 in Las Vegas in December. The Management & Strategy track at Web Builder 2.0 will feature the latest thinking on how to increase your site's traffic, sales and overall ROI, while also examining how to manage and capitalize on the unique opportunities presented by Web 2.0

Managing web development projects is harder than it looks. No matter how great your design and technology is it must be supported by great people, systems and processes, all backed up with solid documentation and communication to make it successful.

Join us to hear developer Kayden Kelly tell the story behind Blast Advanced Media, which has grown from one guy in a garage 8 years ago to a successful web design and development agency today. Kayden will relate the mistakes made and lessons learned in his years of managing web development projects.

In this session we'll discuss successful approaches to a variety of management issues as they relate to web development projects, including: staffing, leading, how to build and foster a company culture, making technology decisions, utilizing proper systems & processes, managing projects, documentation, measuring success, managing clients, and managing partnerships. You don't have to work in an agency to get something out of this session. Many of the concepts that will be covered can be applied to help you achieve individual and team greatness, and have fun doing it.

Join us if you want to gain insight into how a successful agency operates and avoid some of the common mistakes managers make in the Web development world.

Our friends from Closed Loop Marketing will also be presenting at this event.

Blast Featured as a Roseville Green Company

We may not be the first green web development agency out there but we're doing our part. I all that we do, our team has a commitment to improving both the people and the world around us. Participating in a Green program is just one small contribution to that end.

Enrolling in Green Roseville reduces emissions by 100%. For the average residential customer, enrollment prevents the emission of 7,728 pounds of Carbon Dioxide a year, which has an environmental impact equivalent to not driving for 2/3 of the year or planting over 500 trees. By supporting renewable energy, you can help protect the environment by offsetting the need for more fossil fuel generation. In addition, renewable energy can help reduce our nation’s reliance on fossil fuels.

Raving Fans: PARMA

"Shalee and Joe,

I fell in love with Blast the first time I walked through the doors in Auburn. I believed in the vision Kayden painted for us and I believed in the company. I couldn't imagine PARMA working with anyone else and I pushed the Board of Directors to see the value of upgrading our database and website. There were a few unforeseen rough spots where I was wondering if I had been mistaken. Leaving the meeting today I know I was right to have whole heartedly supported Blast. The two of you did an outstanding job in helping us prepare for a new season and also for this meeting we have coming up in which we will demo the site. I also very much appreciated your financial/business input, Shalee, as I think it will help to prevent a few of the issues we faced previously.

Anyway – a thousand thanks for the time you took today to meet with us. I feel like the solution to add the WYSISYG interface for the letter function was a really a simple and elegant solution for PARMA's needs and while a minor part of the meeting filled a huge problem area for the organization."
